I hope you visit them. If you do, say hi from me!

Here is a real Artist's website- and I am very proud (not to mention lucky!) to call this man my friend! I have done shows with him and also played in a few bands with him. I hope you will visit and spend some time looking at his work and listening to the music that he has available for downloading, it is well worth the time!

Gregory A. Page's website!

Here is another website of a great Artist and a dear friend and teacher of mine. I have woked for Bela on and off for several years and I always look forward to the next project he has for me. Most recently I helped him paint a mural in Walker, MN He is a fantastic painter and an icon in the local and Minnesota Arts scene. I highly recommend that you check out his work!

Bela Petheo's website!

The First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis

Saint Benedict's Monastery

My Friend Tom Voller had created a website dedicated to the memory of a mutual friend of ours, Andrew Morsches, who was one heck of a fine expressionist painter and a really great guy. Tom, also a painter and a really great guy, collected words written by and about Andrew and set up a gallery of his paintings.

Since Tom has been very busy these past few years I've asked him for the slides of Andrew's work and created my own gallery of his based on the gallery already set up by Tom. See it here at The Andrew Morsches Gallery. A very special thank you to Tom Voller for his assitance, ideas and inspiration, not to mention his permission.

HELP ME!!!
If you know where any of Andrew's Paintings or other Artworks are please contact me!!! (Email link at bottom of this page or in Andrew's Gallery)

My friend Mike McGraw does wonderful and unique photography, he manages to capture moods without capturing attention. In other words, he takes great pictures without getting in the way! He is also a musician and really fine and extremely talented person and I hope you check out his stuff.

My friend Rick Leach makes guitars. Visit his website to see some of them! He is a great guy and a real asset to the regional music scene. I hope you check him out!

Lately I have been taking a Martial Arts Class, a form called "Quan Li K'an."
You can read all about it by clicking on the patch below.

My friend Simon Hensby A.K.A. Grey Olltwit is a very smart and generous man who creates Fun, Exciting and Educational computer games and distributes the educational ones for free and the fun ones for a small donation via the Internet or on CD. Finale Notepad is avaiable for free from finalemusic.com It is an easy to use program for writing and printing music. If you are like me and hear lots of music in your head but don't play well enough to get it out, this is the program I recommend. It's functions are somewhat limited but I feel it is a fairly good basic program.

MUSEUMS!

Here is a list of some museums throughout the world that have websites. I visited some of these and let me tell you that visiting on the web may be cheaper but it is definitely not better, yet it is nice online because even though the collections aren't always that big, generally you don't have to fight the crowds.

The Minneapolis Institute of Arts   The 'tute

The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

The British Museum in London, England.

The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C.

The Louvre museum in Paris, France.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York, NY.

The Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, PA.

The Getty in Los Angeles, CA.

Greek Museums:
I enjoy reading Classical Greek literature and looking at their ancient art. An interest in archaeology combined with a love of Art makes these some of my favorites!
The Acropolis is a very interesting and historic place.
That's a link for a virtual tour, here's the Greek ministry of culture's page about the museum.
The Agora museum was good too.
Delphi is as beautiful as it is historic.
Epidaurus was also interesting
The Corinth museum was very interesting. The story of the theft and recovery of ancient artifacts is also fascinating.
But I guess The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is pretty good too. Heck, I'm interested in them all so here is a link to a list of Greek museums. Enjoy!

Italian Museums:
(I'll try to get more soon). I like the works of the renaissance Artists most, but some of the things both older and newer than that are nice, too. The Uffizi Gallery in Florence, Italy. Incidentally, while I was researching a few things to put on this page I came across this little uhhh... spot on the web. If you go to their home page you will find links to see the most important room for anyone who visits a museum after having way too much coffee! Not to mention lots of other landmarks throughout the world. Uffizi urinals

The Vatican Museum in the Vatican city in the heart of Rome, Italy.
